The slowdown in construction activity has prompted nearly everyone in our industry to expand
into new markets. In addition to expansions to our product line and our dump truck delivery
service, Marshall has also started a new fleet repair and maintenance division. Marshall
Fleet Services takes advantage of our garage facility and our experienced truck mechanics to
offer a broad range of fleet services. Leading our efforts is Phil Hanson, a 17 year Marshall
veteran, with over 35 years of mechanic and trucking experience.

We anticipate a major portion of this business will be annual vehicle inspections. All commercial
vehicles are required to undergo annual inspections to insure that they meet or exceed D.O.T.
safety standards. Inspections must be conducted by trained and annually qualified mechanics.
All of our mechanics are certified to perform annual inspections. Many contractors are able to
perform most or all of the daily maintenance on their vehicles, but the training requirements
for the certification are often impractical for a contractor.

Think of Marshall Fleet Services for your more complicated repair work. Clutch and transmission
work, rear ends and drive train, and engine work all require extensive mechanical knowledge to be
repaired properly. We have the knowledge and the tools to do the job correctly and quickly.

Another important service is our road side and mobile service. With a fleet of nearly 100
vehicles, many of them carrying a perishable product, Marshall needs to ability to make mobile
repairs and service calls. Our service truck is equipped with a wide variety of repair equipment
– including a portable hose machine that can make custom hoses and fittings for hydraulic systems.
